1. The above Program (the program) is applicable only to Shangri-La and Shanghai Garden Sub-Branches in Chengdu and is not applicable to subsidiaries or branches of OCBC Bank (China) Ltd. (the Bank) in other mainland areas.
2. The program only applies to personal banking customers of Consumer Financial Services division of the Bank, excluding corporate customers of other business divisions.
3. All referred new Joaquim Platinum Customers shall successfully open personal banking accounts for the first time with the Bank during the program period and maintain the funds required for his/her Joaquim Platinum qualification for at least one year by the time the referrer redeems the gift.
4. Referrers must be existing customers of the Bank.
5. Referrers of the program cannot participate in the Bank's other referral programs concurrently. The referred Joaquim Platinum Customers cannot enjoy any welcome or upgrade gifts of other concurrent promotions or programs.
6. The program starts from 15 July, 2010 till 31 December, 2010. Referral gifts can be redeemed every 2 months from the beginning of the program. Each eligible referrer shall apply for point redemption and is required to sign the acknowledgement letter to confirm receipt of the gift. All referral points shall be redeemed by 31 January, 2011, or the points will become invalid afterwards. 
7. All referral points and gifts cannot be cashed or exchanged for other gifts. If the gift items run out of stock, the Bank has all rights to replace it with other gift items of equivalent value. There is no replacement in case of loss.
8. The Bank does not provide warranty on the gift quality or related customer services. Customers shall contact the gift suppliers directly for any quality or service problems related to the gifts.
9. By participating in the program, customers are construed to have read, fully understood and agreed to the terms and conditions of the program.
10. If there are any discrepancies between the terms & conditions herein and any other marketing materials related to the program, the terms & conditions herein shall prevail.
11. The Bank reserves all rights to final interpretation of the terms & conditions.
12. In case of discrepancy between Chinese and English texts, the Chinese text shall prevail.
