ATM is a self-service device that can provide 24-hour convenient services such as deposit, withdrawal and funds transfer for cardholders, and it is also coveted by criminals. Therefore, please pay attention to the following items when using ATMs:
No password is required from you to be admitted into any self-service banking facility. Please do not enter password on any device except self-service devices.
Please highly alert to suspicious attachments or notices on the machine when using your bank card, such as attachments to the card slot, micro cameras, posted transfer notices, and notices with such words as "Malfunction", "Upgrade", or "Maintenance", or "Out of Service", etc. If you find anything suspicious, please do not use the machine and immediately ask the Bank's staff for help or call the Bank's customer service hotline to report.
Please beware of suspicious people around you When using ATMs, and do not accept help from "warm-hearted people" or other people's inquiries, so as not to be distracted and have the card switched or banknotes stolen by criminals.
Before withdrawing money on an ATM, please pay attention to the cash dispenser and the password keypad for modifications or anything unusual. Be careful to cover up the password when inputting it to prevent it from being directly accessed by criminals or by using a camera.
If the ATM does not dispense cash or return the card, please don’t leave immediately. Pay attention to messages on the screen, and don’t trust any phone number posted on the ATM. The Bank has no other consultation phone number other than the customer service hotline. If the card is swallowed, please contact the Bank in time and get the card back according to the regulations.
Please carefully identify bank announcements, don’t trust any phone number posted on the ATM easily, and remember not to believe the announcement asking customers to transfer money to designated accounts. If necessary, seek help from our staff and the customer service hotline or call 110 (Chinese mainland) or local police phone number (Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas).
Please remember to leave ATM with the bank card and banknotes, and make sure that the bank card is your own. In addition, please pay special attention to the different cash withdrawal process in many overseas countries and regions as it’s “card before cash”. ATM transaction receipts should be properly kept or handled and destroyed in time.
